Registration Steps
1. Registration Form
We will first send you a registration and agreement form from SignRequest. Please let us know if you do not receive it. This form will collect your child’s personal details plus outline the tuition fees, payment and withdrawal policies.
We ask families to commit to the entire enrolment period (usually September to August or September to June for Preschool) to maintain the stability of our programs. The enrolment period will be specified in your agreement.
Special Note: The 1st month is always considered a trial period. If for some reason our centre isn’t the right fit, you can withdraw within the first month and we will refund your deposit. Any tuition paid or registration fees are non-refundable.
2. Deposit + Registration Fee
To hold your child’s spot, we ask for two fees:
Deposit equal to one full month of tuition
$50 one-time registration fee
Please email transfer the deposit + registration fee to burnaby@dharmakids.ca and include your child’s full name in the transfer notes. We are registered for Auto Deposit.
We will confirm once we receive the payment and send you a receipt once your child is added to our Lillio system (formerly known as HiMama). Please note that this deposit and registration fee is NOT refundable if you cancel your registration prior to starting.
The deposit is held on file and applied to the tuition for the last month of enrolment (normally August) or carried forward if you renew for the following year.
Once these three steps are complete, your child will be considered registered and we will hold their spot until their start date.
Affordable Child Care Benefit
The Government of BC may be able to subsidize your child care tuition based on your income level if you qualify. If you would like to apply for this program, please let us know so we can fill out the form they require. Click here to learn more about the Affordable Child Care Benefit.

Please take a look at our Parent Handbook (click here) to read more information about our centre prior to your child starting.
About two weeks prior to your child’s start date, we will reach out with more information to get them started. The first month of tuition will be due on the 1st of the month that they start.
